We headed to Barcelona to see James kick off their summer run, joining them for the opening night on Saturday 27th June at Port Vell in the Port of Barcelona as part of the Blaumari Music Festival. The band performed on a stage floating out at sea, setting the tone for a spectacular start to the tour.
Things unfolded exactly as you might expect in 30°C+ heat – a mix of great moments, slightly scrambled filming, plenty of wandering, and less organisation than originally planned. Alongside the show, we soaked up the city, took in some culture, and ate our way through more incredible food than we probably needed.
